A Long-Overdue Update

Dear Friends and Family,

Sorry it has been so long since I've posted. We've had a busy month! Thankfully, I have kept my camera busy. I am going to try to do several posts this week, so I can get all our new pictures on from the past few weeks. Check back often!

Halle loves to play with her feet

I wish I was that limber!

This is an outfit that Uncle Tim and Aunt Kelsey got for Halle.

Playing on the floor.....again

Halle had a big adventure....she and Mommy flew to Tennessee to see Grandpa Gary and Grandma Tami. This is the morning we were leaving. She was getting ready to say goodbye to Daddy. Needless to say, he was quite sad to see us go. He said that Halle was not allowed to do anything new or cute while we were gone. She didn't anything new, but of course, she is cute all the time!
This is Halle at the Pittsburgh airport. Everyone was stopping to talk to her, and she was loving it! She's very friendly, and attracts lots of attention.
Ollie is her toy elephant (hanging from her car seat), and Polly is her bunny rabbit. Polly's full name is Polly Esther, named by Daddy. I love it! She also has a doll named Dolly, and a cow named Molly (Molly Moo is her full name). I guess we like the rhyming thing.

Here we are on the plane getting ready for takeoff. The lighting wasn't so good for this shot.
A man across the aisle was kind enough to take this picture for us. We met so many nice people, and had lots of help getting through security and on and off the planes. We had a stop each way, so we were actually on four different planes in the week. Everyone was great!
We had a wonderful week at my mom and dad's. This is my sister, Cierra, holding Halle. She is a great little helper, and really enjoyed helping with the baby.
Grandma Tami with Halle
Halle LOVED Uncle Asher. He played with her and sang to her, and she thought he was just great.
This evening, we were watching a movie, and everyone took turns watching Halle. She was lots more interesting and funny than the movie was!
Grandpa Gary giving Halle a kiss.
"Uncle John" finally decided to hold Halle after several days. He didn't want to hold her because he was afraid she would spit up on him (which was very likely), and he didn't want to have to wash his hands. Anyways, he finally decided to hold her, and found out it wasn't so bad after all. Of course, he only held her long enough for me to get these pictures!
Halle got her bath in Grandma's kitchen sink. Halle loves to take a bath. She's never happier than when she's in the water.
Grandma let her play with the rag!
This is the morning we had to go back home. Halle and Grandpa got some last-minute snuggles in.

Grandma held Halle until it was time for us to walk out the door.

By the way, this beautiful little dress was also a gift from Aunt Kelsey and Uncle Tim. I just love it! I had people stopping me at the airport to tell me how pretty she was dressed.

We had a wonderful week visiting with family and friends. Halle not only got to see my parents, two of my brothers, two of my sisters, and four of her cousins, she also got to see both sets of her great-grandparents. It was so good to see everyone. I hope we can do it again soon, but next time Daddy has to come too.
