A Topsy-Turvy Day

Well, this is my first attempt at blogging. I hope I can figure it out (if you're reading this, then I suppose I have!). We were hoping to finish the custody paperwork today, and be at the hospital tonight, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, it didn't work out. The birthmother had to stay in the hospital for an extra day. She is supposed to be released tomorrow afternoon, and Lord willing, everything will be signed then. Needless to say, it's been a little bit of an emotional roller coaster today, but all is well, and we know that the Lord is in control of the whole situation. Please continue to pray for things to progress smoothly, especially tomorrow. Halle is doing well...very few withdrawal symptoms. Praise the Lord! I just can't wait to sit at the hospital and hold her for three days!!! Since we did come home, I thought I would post these pictures from our visit today.....(isn't she beautiful?!)

I keep anxiously checking my computer to see if there are any new posts or pictures -- just can't seem to get enough of Halle. What a wonderful answer to prayer! God IS so good! Doesn't seem like we'll get to see her in person soon enough! I just keep thinking of you both holding her at the hospital and knowing how overjoyed you must feel. What an exciting thought -- it brings tears to my eyes. We love you all so much and are looking forward to spending Christmas together with two new babies in the house!
