Three Months Old

It is so hard to believe that our Halle is already three months old! This picture (and several following) was taken on February 3rd, Halle's three-month "birthday". She is "on the phone" with Gramee and Grampee Lott who called to wish her a happy birthday! The outfit is her Christmas present from Aunt Pat & Aunt Jean.

This is Halle looking at our living room light fixture, which is one of her favorite things. We're not sure why, but she absolutely loves it! She will lay on the couch and smile and laugh at it, even when it's not on.

This is Daddy & Halle at Halle's first hockey game! Mary Kay and Jesse Goff offered us free tickets to see a local minor league hockey team play. It was fun. We stuck cotton in Halle's ears, so the noise wouldn't scare her half to death...she seemed totally undisturbed (and unimpressed) by the whole thing!

This is me and Halle getting ready to head to a Valentine banquet on Friday night. It was at a friend's church. Brian preached and we sang. It was really nice. This little outfit was a gift from our friends, the Johnsons.

This is me and Halle getting ready to head to a Valentine banquet on Saturday night (we've been on the banquet circuit). This banquet was hosted by Hannahstown Road Baptist Church, where my in-laws attend. We had a great time.

This is Brian and me playing a game at the banquet. Each of us had a string connected to our wrists, and they interlocked. We were supposed to try how to get separated without taking the strings off of our wrists. We never did figure it out, but we had fun trying!

Halle is watching Mommy's favorite cartoon....Little Einsteins. She just discovered the TV this week. She has also learned to roll over, scoot on her back, and laugh out loud this week. She's been a very busy girl! Oh, and I must not forget, she has learned to scream when she's mad. That one I could have waited a while on!!!

These last few pictures I took this morning. We had snow yesterday, then ice last night, then more snow this morning. I think we have six or seven inches. It's so beautiful! I love it....especially since I don't have to go anywhere.

Halle is so much fun, and such a little doll. I wish all of you could see her up close and hold her. She is a little snuggle bug, and would prefer to be held 24 hours a day. I'm trying to help her learn that's not a practical option! But I do enjoy holding her as much as possible. It still seems hard to believe that she is here with us. We are so incredibly thankful to the Lord for her. Please continue to pray for her adoption process to go smoothly. Thanks so much for checking in. I'll try to add more pictures soon!
